Fill station pricing

diveshack runs an on-site fill station stocked for air, nitrox, and mixed gas blends. Pricing is per fill and applies to all cylinder sizes noted below. Stage cylinder fills are charged at the same rate as the main cylinder.

Private and group charters

diveshack runs regular scheduled boat days and can arrange private charters for groups that want exclusive access to a specific site or a flexible departure time. All charters depart from the Malta north coast area.

Hire what you need, bring what you have

Already have some kit? Hire only what you need rather than a full equipment package. All hire items are inspected and serviced to diveshack standards before each use.

Aluminium stage and pony cylinders

All cylinders are aluminium. Sizes available for deco stops, stage diving, and sidemount configurations. Cylinders are supplied unfilled: gas fill charged separately at fill station rates above.

Conditions of Equipment Rental

These terms apply to all kit hire and fill-station use at diveshack. By picking up rental equipment you agree to the following.

1. 01
   Certification required. Equipment is only rented to certified divers with a minimum of SSI Open Water Diver (or equivalent). Technical kit requires proof of appropriate technical certification.
2. 02
   Accompanied dives only. diveshack does not rent equipment, supply fills, or hire kit to unaccompanied divers, irrespective of certification level. Rental is reserved for divers booked on a guided dive, course, or charter with us.
3. 03
   Technical kit policy. Stage regulators, wing & harness, stage cylinders, rebreather tanks, DPV, CCR unit, and the Tec Budget Pack are available only to divers enrolled on a technical course or booked on a guided tec dive with diveshack.
4. 04
   Rental period. Rates are per dive, per day, or per 24-hour period as shown above. Late returns may be charged an additional period at the published rate.
5. 05
   Guarantee. A form of guarantee (passport or deposit) may be required before equipment leaves the centre.
6. 06
   Inspection. All kit must be inspected by the hirer before leaving the centre. Any fault, damage, or fit issue must be reported before the dive.
7. 07
   Loss or damage. The hirer is responsible for the full replacement or repair cost of any rental item lost or damaged during the rental period. Damage beyond fair wear and tear will be charged at current retail replacement rates.
8. 08
   Gas analysis. All nitrox, trimix, and deco gas fills are analysed before use. The diver signs off on the analysis before leaving the fill station.

Pricing at a Glance

All prices in EUR. Course prices include equipment. Dive packages include cylinder and guide transport to the dive site. Boat fees, Gozo supplements, and other site charges are not included. SSI eLearning prices are inclusive of VAT at SSI 2026 recommended retail. Private = one-to-one instruction. Group rates are price on application.
