Two guided dives in one day across two different Malta sites. Same full equipment and guide service as the single dive, just double the time underwater.
Two sites in one day as an Open Water diver. The guide typically pairs a shallower reef entry with a second site that makes use of remaining no-deco time. Expect grouper, bream, damselfish, and octopus across both dives. Malta's visibility regularly runs to 20m-plus at Open Water depths.
Full kit for both dives, two separate briefings, surface interval on land with your guide.

Mask, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulators. Fitted and checked before each dive. Tank included.
A qualified diveshack instructor leads both dives. Guide stays with the group from first entry to final exit.
Two different sites chosen for each dive. Typically a wreck plus a reef, or two contrasting wrecks matched to conditions.
Guide runs the surface interval between dives. Debrief dive one, log the marine life you spotted in our What Did You See? tool, then a full briefing before dive two.
| Season | Conditions | Temp | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jan – Mar | Calmer in the south. Some northern sites exposed to swell. Visibility excellent on calm days. | 15–17°C | Fair |
| Apr – Jun | Conditions improve steadily. Excellent visibility from May. Water warms quickly through June. | 17–22°C | Good |
| Jul – Sep | Flat calm Mediterranean. Best wreck conditions. Warm water, exceptional clarity. | 24–27°C | Peak |
| Oct – Dec | Very good through October. Water stays warm into November. Fewer divers at sites. | 18–24°C | Good |
Malta is diveable year-round. The Mediterranean's enclosed geography means no significant swell for most of the year, and water clarity is consistently excellent. Summer months bring glass-flat conditions and 24–27°C water. Winter diving is popular with experienced divers who appreciate empty sites and 20–25m visibility.
Generally light. Some northern sites see mild current at the arch. Always manageable with guide planning.
May through October. Peak summer gives the warmest water and flattest conditions. Book ahead in July and August.
Among the best in the Mediterranean. Average 22–32m depending on season. Harbour sites slightly less than open coast.
