When you contact us through the enquiry form on this website, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is used only to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
If you complete a dive course with us, we collect the information required to register your SSI certification: your name, date of birth, nationality, certification level achieved, and course completion date. This information is transmitted to SSI (Scuba Schools International) as part of the international certification registration process.
We collect general, non-personal usage data about how visitors interact with this website: pages visited, session duration, device type, and broad geographic region. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users. It is used for marketing analysis and to improve the website. We do not collect or store individual IP addresses in identifiable form.
We do not use your personal data for automated profiling or automated decision-making.
On completion of any SSI certification course, student certification data is shared with Scuba Schools International as part of the international certification registration process. SSI acts as a joint data controller for certification records.

Note: certification records held jointly with SSI may be subject to SSI's own data retention obligations. We will inform you of any limitations when processing a request.
Send a written request to info@divemalta.com with the subject line "Data Request". We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
To request removal of your data, email info@divemalta.com with the subject "Data Removal Request" and include your full name, email address, and the nature of your request. We will acknowledge your request within 5 working days and complete it within 30 days.
