Six months or more out of the water? The Scuba Skills Update gets you back to full confidence in one session. Confined water skills review followed by an open water checkout dive.
Valid for any certification level. This is a refresher session, not a learn-to-dive course.
The Scuba Skills Update is designed for certified divers who haven't been in the water for six months or more. It refreshes the skills that fade fastest: mask clearing, regulator recovery, buoyancy control, and emergency signalling.
The session takes place in a confined water environment before a supervised open water checkout dive. On completion, your SSI instructor signs off your logbook. An SSI Scuba Review card is issued. This session is a prerequisite before joining guided dive packages if you have a break of six months or more.
