What You Will Learn – Course Curriculum
The SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC) is designed to prepare you to teach and certify students from beginner to advanced levels. Over 10 days, you will complete the following modules:
1. SSI Teaching System & Standards

Course Prerequisites
To enrol in the SSI Instructor Training Course, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Certification Level: SSI Divemaster (or equivalent from another agency).
- Diving Experience: At least 60 logged dives totalling 40 hours to start the ITC, however 100 logged dives totalling 65+ hours is required to participate in the 2 day Instructor Evaluation.
- Medical Clearance: Valid medical certificate for diving within the last 12 months.
- Additional Requirements:
- SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 40 certification.

- The 2 day Instructor Evaluation (IE) €500 + VAT for the Instructor Evaluation (IE) – this is paid separately.
