What You Will Learn – Course Overview
The SSI Open Water Diver Course provides comprehensive training in dive theory, safety, and practical skills. By the end of the scuba diving course, you will be able to plan and execute dives confidently up to 18 meters (60 feet).
1. Dive Theory & Knowledge Development
- Understanding diving physics, physiology, and equipment usage.

2. Confined Water Training
- Practicing essential scuba skills in a controlled, shallow-water environment.

Who Can Join?
The SSI Open Water Diver Course is open to anyone who:
- Is at least 10 years old (Junior Open Water Diver certification for ages 10-14).
- Is comfortable in the water and able to swim.
- Is in good general health (a medical questionnaire will be provided).
