Course Prerequisites

To enroll in the SSI Divemaster Course, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Hold an SSI Advanced Adventurer certification (or equivalent).
  • Be certified as an SSI Diver Stress & Rescue diver (or equivalent).
  • Have a minimum of 60 logged dives totaling at least 40 hours.
  • Hold a valid First Aid & CPR certification (issued within the last 24 months).
  • Have a valid diving medical certificate (issued within the last 12 months).
